By using FreightCal, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Permission is granted to use the FreightCal LTL freight class and density calculator for personal and commercial shipping planning purposes, subject to the following restrictions:

• You may not reproduce, duplicate, or sell access to this Service without our written consent.
• You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service.
• You may not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to systematically extract data from the Service without our prior written permission.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by FreightCal at any time.

The freight class results generated by this tool are based on the 2025 NMFC density scale and are estimates only. Actual freight class assigned by a carrier may differ based on:

• Specific commodity NMFC item numbers and sub-items.
• Carrier-specific tariffs, rules, and inspection results.
• Stowability, handling difficulty, and liability factors.
• Actual measured dimensions determined by carrier density audits.

Always verify the freight class with your carrier or licensed freight broker before booking a shipment. FreightCal makes no warranty, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all warranties, including without limitation implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose.

In no event shall FreightCal, its operators, authors, or affiliates be liable for any of the following damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Service:

• Shipping errors, reclassification charges, or freight invoice corrections.
• Financial losses resulting from incorrect freight class estimates.
• Business interruption or loss of profits.
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by FreightCal. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. We strongly advise you to read the Terms and Privacy Policy of any third-party site you visit.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
